| It is funny how as they age we can “forget” how vibrant they were in their younger years as they can become a shadow of themselves. Roady stayed vibrant for the vast majority of his life. His focus changed from hunting to foraging for food but he maintained his personality and zest. He never thought of himself as old: running up and down the steps, jumping up to say hello, leaping into the van, counter surfing long after respectable dogs give up the sport. He left us today in the home he was born in, wagging his tail and happy to be with almost all of his favorite people. Lots of us will miss him.
