Busy Busy

I didn't forget but I did run out of time.  After Pixie's ultrasound we picked up Roady, went for a run, they got baths and we all ate and then i went to work.  So I thought I'd be able to post the results at work but apparently not.  So.  Drum roll please........

Ms. Mouthy is indeed pregnant!  Conservative counts are 3.   Hopeful counts are 6.  We'll wait until the end of July to find out for sure.

Sorry for the delay for those of you who are waiting to find out :-).

4th Week - We're Back!

Vacation for everyone is over.  Pixie is back from visiting her brother and Roady will be back from visiting his sister and niece this afternoon.

It's hard to tell but Pix had better be pregnant or she is going on a major diet.  She has that bloated tick feel :-).  More later!

Quiet Time

Pix is staying at my mom's while we are on vaca.  No pics will be posted for Week 3.  I can't wait to see her next Monday to see if there is much of a change!

2nd WEEK

I took some pics of Pixie yesterday to mark her progress.  Her 2nd breeding was on a Monday so I'll use that day to show what she is looking like. On rare occasion Pixie will turn her nose up at her food.  This morning was one of those days. Morning sickness?  It could be just coincidental but I'll take it as a sign. We also went to visit Lisa for her magic "is she or isn't she?" feel.  The answer was a yes!

Poor Pixie

Talk about bored to death! My agility group held a trial this weekend. Pixie didn't get to go. I took Roady for a run today. Pixie was on a leash. What's a poor girl to do? 

Puppy Development

I don't want to be repetitive so if you are interested in in the possible development of the whelps go back to the posts from September 2010.  Additionally, I've copied in the info below just because I think it is interesting. (I apologize for any misspellings.  I just copied it from a website )

I've put the chart off to the side so that it is there throughout the pregnancy and you don't have to go back and forth to see it.

Today mom and I picked up Pixie from her rendezvous with her intended, Flynn (AKA GCH 3xBISS DC AFC Snowridge Gunfire Flynn MH AOM CGC WT).  Apparently, she had a great time with the girls at Camp Whitney as can be seen above.  She is on the left.

Puppies, should they be cooking in there, are due at the end of July so that gives us only so much time for the prep work that needs to start including the hyper nesting by me - empty out the house of anything we haven't used in the last year (We're tired of looking at it )  

Mom and I spent the trip to Medina planning color of the whelping box and a litter theme with potential names.  Drew and Henry decided that the litter names will be X-Men based.  The new thing I think we are going to do is have all future registered names be based on one word following the alphabet.  That would make this the G litter so for an example a puppy could be named Windrunner Glitter.  You probably get the point.
